Who we are

Crescent City Community Court at Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans is a court-based program that connects participants to resources, services, and treatment instead of fines or jail time. We link participants to housing support, jobs, treatment, or community service opportunities. Future court appearances are replaced with round-table conferences that include a compassionate judge, case management staff, and community partners.

With a team of trained case managers, the goal of our therapeutic dockets is to identify needs, develop individualized plans for success, provide appropriate referrals, and assist participants as they work towards wellbeing. Legal cases are resolved favorably as a result of participation, yet participants can continue to access our case management services for as long as they wish.

We believe in diversion over detention, and our vision is to create an ecosystem of care where all can thrive.
